Oh my god, this is amazing!

I can’t be the only one who loves the new boss designs. Sakit’s arm it way cooler in this version IMO!

Nintendo, please let this game by!

  3. A hopeful person says

Is there any chance we’ll see this game on a platform other than the Wii ?

  4. Aegeus says

Excellent stuff. The backgrounds look very pretty, particularly the Inferno Cavern. The bosses look to be the same ones we know and love, with updated graphics, but the way the background changes for a boss battle is pretty cool.

Gameplay-wise, here’s what I spotted in the video. Some of this might have been revealed already, but I haven’t been following this blog much:
    * There’s a new subweapon, it looks like a chakram, and basically works as a boomerang.
    * A few puzzles have definitely been altered. This is most obvious for the Sun, Moon and Stars puzzle, which seems very easy to me.
    * There are actual animations for solving a puzzle (Statue collapses, door slides open). This should make it easier to tell when you’ve changed something in the ruins.
    * MSX programs take up a certain amount of memory, so you still can’t have all of them equipped, but the amount of memory seems very large, so you won’t have to keep switching between your map and glyph reader.
    * Translation has changed from the original patch (Sky Water Source?), which will probably throw us fans off for a bit.
    * Pedestals now sink into the ground after use, presumably so you can avoid ones you’ve already triggered.

    Anything else I missed?

  5. I dont know why Nintendo rejected your game guys but lets analize this. Have you noticed that every Nintendo game is now easy a has very little to no challengue? And lets not forget that this kinda games are now targeted at younger audiences. But yeah some other games that are “hard as nails” are coming to the wii, like Super Meat Boy, lets hope that you dont have to censor too much stuff or water down hard parts, maybe it got rejected because of some small bugs but…
So what are the real reasons for this reject? Lets us all discuss this matter. By the way i am from Chile, proving that like the other spanish comment, this game has worldwide fans!

Oh my god, if this trailer doesn’t make you want to buy the game, nothing will. Best old-school platformer that I’ve seen in a long time.

  8. Mad Surge says

I really like the new minibosses, they look way more menacing than in the old game. And… is that Nu Wa? AWESOME!

  9. Why was this not posted here sooner? I completely missed this during the Ustream.
